Love it, Go to Jumping Rock and the rope swing. Beautiful homes and nice scenery to look at.Take the boat or drive to Georgia Butts for some good BBQ and cold beer. The Ritz is amazing, especially at Christmas. They have a tree lighting ice skating along with great food at all the restaurants. This place is great year round

We had an absolute blast staying on Lake Oconee over the Thanksgiving Holiday. It was so nice to get away from the every-day scene for the holidays and just be able to focus on family. We found a great place that had plenty of room for everyone, and great views of the lake. It's HUGE. Everywhere we went we would come across another section of the lake. Will definitely be looking into summer trips there as well!!

Lake Oconee was alot of fun. Very relaxing. We wanted somewhere close to home to take our new RV to. But first we had to go into town and pick up a few things. Very nice town and the Publix had everything we needed for the weekend. The KOA campground was very nice and the owners we're very friendly.
